The LHC has been deemed safe by CERN, but CERN is not an uninterested party.

Actually, the safety arguments are unverified, and not just some of the safety arguments, all of the safety arguments are unverified.

So yes, the LHC has been deemed safe, and unverified, and disputed, and no reasonable risk and possibly high risk.

Pick your favorite, what ever helps you to sleep well.
